This tool was designed as a quick exercise inspired by the complex topic of slow play in Bandai games. It will not tell you if slow play is happening or not but will provide you with visual guidance to assess slow play or stalling.
It can be used to gain self awareness of how long your actions take or used by a judge in place of a lap timer to gain insight on a complex situation.
When the observer start tracking the time or when a turn start, just click on start turn. Every time the player observed advances the game (attach don, attack, play a card, use effect, etc) click on action. When the opponent is responding (countering, deciding on effect, etc) click on pause.
The tool generates a chart with the turns and the bars represent each action. To evaluate slow play the observer must take in consideration the board state complexity as well as how actions flow on each other.
